Phillip SchofieldPhillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are usually always sat on the This Morning sofa when we tune in each day.
But, as fans will have no doubt already noticed, Phillip was mysteriously absent from today's episode of the ITV show.
The TV presenter was replaced by Ben Shephard - who seemed pretty baffled to be there.
He turned to Holly and asked flatly: “Why am I here?”
The blonde mum-of-three looked more than a little flustered, eventually settling for: “Phil is off filming elsewhere… if anyone sees him out and about today, let us know!”
She added reluctantly: “I do know but I don’t know whether I’m allowed to say…”
However Ben, after a little gentle probing, managed to tease a few extra details out of her.
It was eventually confirmed that Phil is off filming a "top secret" project - and Holly accidentally let slip one vital clue to the presenter's whereabouts.
“It’s by royal appointment,” she admitted.
Cryptic, sure - but it was the only clue we needed.
Yesterday, The Mail Online published photographs of the 54-year-old enjoying The Great Windsor Horse Show.
He was dressed very smartly, in tweeds and a flat cap, as he enjoyed a carriage ride around the grounds.
