Ooh! Mrs Brown is getting a Saturday night chat show

That's our Saturday night's sorted!

Good news Mrs Brown fans, everyone's NSFW gran is getting a new show, and we think you're gonna LOVE the sound of it!

The new Saturday night chat show - which will be aired on BBC One - will see Agnes Brown (played by Brendan O'Carroll) inviting all manner of celebrities into her living room for a cup of tea and a chat - all filmed in front of a live studio audience.

Titled All Round To Mrs Brown's, the show will also feature audience participation and tons of typical Mrs Brown antics.

Brendan, creator of and actor behind Mrs Brown, said: "The entire cast is excited by this. I think Agnes may be worried that she'll need a bigger kettle to make tea for everyone that's coming round."

Alan Tyler, BBC Commissioning Editor of Entertainment, said: "Brendan is a truly special talent and in Mrs Brown he has created someone who is loved by our audience.

"We are thrilled that Agnes is throwing her doors open and cannot wait to see what Brendan, Jenny and the brilliant cast have in store for those who step inside."

Brendan ajd his on and off-screen son Danny recently spoke to The Sun about writing the show. Danny told them: "I always tell him if I think a joke doesn’t work and he'll say: 'Danny, trust me!' And they go down a storm every time. He sometimes gives me a little wink on camera as if to say: 'Told ya so.'"

Brendan added: "It all works itself out in rehearsals. No matter what I've written, most of the really fun bits come to me as we rehearse or – as you can probably tell – when I'm actually doing the show."

And Agnes will be on our screens for at least the next three years, as Brendan has a contract with the BBC for at least until 2020.

Yes, 2017 is already shaping up to be a great TV year!
