Everyone has a favourite Disney movie - and, judging by social media, we sort of assumed everyone ranked Disney’s Frozen as their number one flick from the happiest place on earth.

But, as it turns out, we were very, very wrong.

Digital entertainment service DisneyLife have revealed a magical heatmap of the UK, which shows the entertainment that audiences across the country are enjoying on the DisneyLife app since it launched in November.

The heatmap pairs cities and towns across the UK with magical Disney worlds from Peter Pan’s Neverland to Tangled’s Kingdom of Corona; based on the cities’ most loved Disney and Pixar movies, Disney Channel TV box sets and Disney music tracks.

The map also reveals that Liverpudlians are romantics at heart, as their favourite viewing is the classic love story Beauty and the Beast. The dreaming spires of Oxford, meanwhile, pay homage to their favourite film Alice in Wonderland, and Glasgow’s River Clyde represents the Great Barrier Reef from its most viewed family film, Finding Nemo.

Newcastle gets the honour of being twinned with the Pride Lands from The Lion King, as it’s the movie on DisneyLife Geordies watch the most, while Londoners are apparently obsessed with Sleeping Beauty.
