Despite this it's been reported that the 26-year-old could still be banned from returning to the ITVBe reality show.
A source told the Daily Star: "No final decisions have been made on the casting for the forthcoming series."
After some worrying behaviour last year, and even allegedly failing a drugs test, Arg is said to be back to old self.
The source continued: "Arg seems back to his old self, the one that viewers loved when he first joined the cast.
"He's been eating healthily, he's lost two stone in weight and knocked the partying on the head. Now he's hoping for a second chance and to rejoin the show."
Meanwhile Arg's fellow TOWIE star Ferne McCann has confirmed her boyfriend Charlie Sims is re-joining the cast.
Charlie announced he was taking a break to focus on his business last year, has shared her excitement about filming with her man again.
She told Star magazine: "I missed him to support me last series when I had a tough time on the show.
"It's nice to know someone's always got your back."
