How have we only JUST noticed this huge error in the 90s children’s programme Arthur

Seriously, were we not watching the show properly?

Arthur children's TV show

Can you remember the children's TV show Arthur? It was a classic. The show was based on an eight-year-old aardvark called Arthur Read - remember?

He lived with his mum, dad and his two sisters DW (who frequently annoyed him) and his baby sister Kate. His best friend was Buster, Muffy, Francine and Binky.

It's crazy, we can remember all of that, but we couldn't remember or simply didn't notice this HUGE mistake the show made.

As Arthur is an aardvark his ears are on top of his head but in one scene we see him listening to his earphone on the side of his ears… But his ears aren't there.

How did we miss this?

It's been 20 years since the show first aired back in September 1996 and it seems that a fan of the show has simply had enough with this mistake.

It seems that we're not the only ones who were shocked about this. Another fan replied with these pictures:

Another fan didn't understand why he was playing the piano AND listening to music.

However a couple of fans then pointed out a few other problems:

Have you ever noticed this before? What do you think of this mistake?
