Katie Price heads to Hollywood as she’s set to appear in MOVIE

Katie Price is set to take Hollywood by storm… with an appearance in upcoming film Sharknado 5: Global Swarming.

The former glamour model has excitedly told of how the appearance is a dream come true for her as she follows in the footsteps of a number of stars including Jedward and Tara Reid to appear in the flick franchise.

She told The Sun: “What I love about the film is it doesn’t take itself seriously. I don’t take myself seriously.

“And who could ask for more, to star in a Hollywood movie and be eaten by a shark? Couldn’t ask for anything better.”

Katie put her acting skills to the test in one scene as she dramatically screamed as her co-star Chris Kattan’s leg was bitten off by one of the sharp-toothed sea creatures.

Filming was something of a harrowing experience for the reality star as she was blasted with a powerful wind machine which almost played havoc with her looks.

She said: “I thought the hair was going to come off, I thought the eyelashes were going to come off, and what would be left would be just a pair of silicones.”

In the films, sharks have already destroyed much of North America and in this future feature they cause chaos as they descend on London.

And Katie isn’t the only famous face to be taking part - Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway will make an appearance alongside her co-host Charlotte Hawkins.

Speaking about her role in the film on Friday this week, Kate ominously said: “I come to a grisly end.”
