Larry Lamb was left red-faced last night after accidentally trying to get in bed with Carol Vorderman in the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! camp.
The actor got up to go to the toilet in the middle of the night but was left “completely disorientated” without his glasses and because it was so dark.
He joked: “Without my glasses I can’t really see in the dark and I guided myself to bed and put my hands down only to realise there was someone already in it.”
Carol was woken up with a bit of a shock and had no idea who was trying to get into bed with her.
She said: “The Tilley lamp went up and down the path and I thought, ‘What are they doing’”
But Carol had no idea that when they returned she was going to have an unwelcome visitor attempt to climb into her camped.
In the morning she recounted the incident to her fellow camp stars, admitting she still had no idea who it was, prompting Larry to exclaim: “It was me!”
He said: “I walked straight past my bed, arrived at yours all ready to get in it, felt the bed and thought, no, there is already somebody in it!”
