Celebs Go Dating has been amazing this year. From Stephen Bear's crazy antics (smearing his date with chocolate Tiramisu is probably the only thing we can publish) to Ferne McCann's approach to dating - 'We should get married!' we are sad to see series 2 come to an end.
Most of all, we are devastated with the prospect of not seeing the agency's receptionist Tom Read Wilson on our screens daily, who is brighter than the white wash on the Ariel advert. In every sense. He oozes charm, happiness and words we can barely understand, let alone spell.
We could write a novel on why we love him, but here are 11 reasons, because we all have things to do (and cuppas to drink).
1. We mostly don’t understand a word he is saying
Even 'balk' which is four letters.
2. Yet, we can tell it wouldn't be far removed from a Shakespearean prose
We could listen to his 'plummy' voice for hours.
3. He even made the word 'Reem' sound poetic
4. He stayed overtime to make sure Stephen Bear behaved on his date
Of course Bear still drenched his date in chocolate cake and Prosecco
5. He never has a 'sick day'
Not even when he needs to get lots of washing done. Or if there is a great guest on This Morning.
6. He know’s how to subtly suck up to the boss
7. He can hold a child without stealing their lollypop
We need that willpower.
8. He's brave enough to admit that he wants what he can't have
Even though he wants Joey Essex and we want a quiet five minutes , a carpet that hovers itself or Danny Mac - we can definitely relate.
9. He has such a positive view on everything
Even when dealing with picky celeb types.
10. He appeared on The Voice
And was SO GOOD. His voice is incredible.
11. He comforted Ferne McCann when she didn't get a date for the last dinner
WHAT. A. GENT.
