Tess and Claudia welcome us aboard their “Sparkles” spaceship with The Superman Lovers belting out “Starlight” in the background.

In an interesting spin on years past, The X Factor has been scheduled for an 8.15pm start time on August 27.
Strictly premieres September 3 at 6.50pm and ends at 8.15pm.
