A BBC investigation has highlighted why you should always check the expiry date on supermarket offers.
It's the same for all of us; life's busy, and when you go to the supermarket you just want to get in and out as quickly as possible without forgetting any household essentials!
And even though we know that they're not always the best deal, millions of us still get seduced by Supermarket multi-buy offers.
But did you know that just like the products they relate to, these offers have an expiry date?
Well they do, and now a BBC Inside Out investigation has highlighted why you should always check the expiry date on the offer before grabbing your goods.
For the investigation a BBC reporter visited 50 Tesco stores around the UK, and shockingly, found that labels were advertising expired offers in 33 of these stores!
The problem with this is, when you go to the till the offer is not applied, so you end up spending more than you bargained for!

Shocking!
Following the investigation, people have been sharing their experiences of out of date offers...
One man found an offer in his local Tesco which expired in December 2016!
**Some people defended Tesco saying that although the offers are out of date, the stores still honour them... **
However one man took the matter very seriously and said he'd reported Tesco for this before...
And one person was keen to point out that Tesco isn't the only culprit...
Responding to the findings of the investigation, a Tesco spokesperson told the BBC: "We take great care to deliver clear and accurate price labels for our customers so they can make informed decisions on the products they buy.
"We are disappointed that errors occurred and will be working with the stores involved to reinforce our responsibilities to our customers."
