You’re both looking fantastic – what are your slimming secrets?

What are your secret vices?

It sounds like you know how to enjoy yourselves! How do you balance it with staying healthy?

Maybe when my arse is dragging along the floor, I might go and get a bit of an uplift!

Do you both follow strict exercise regimes to keep in shape?

S: I invested in a yoga mat and some weights recently, so if I can’t get to the gym I do a few exercises at home. I also do some yoga stretches and twists to wake up my body in the mornings. I don’t feel like doing it when I get up at 5.30am, but I try to make myself.

K: I love going to the gym and getting toned. I don’t necessarily want to be skinny – it doesn’t suit me to look gaunt, but I enjoy being healthy and fit.

Have you ever lost weight for a TV role?

S: I slimmed down to appear in drama Vincent with Ray Winstone, but you’ve never seen me skinny and you never will. I’ve got big boobs and curves – if anything, you’ll probably see me bigger in the future!

K: I would slim down for a role if I thought it was relevant, but I wouldn’t want anyone telling me I needed to lose half a stone. That would be quite hard to take.

You both appear in new plastic surgery drama Harley Street – what are your own thoughts on cosmetic surgery?

S: It scares me – there’s nothing wrong with being an older woman and having a lived-in face.

K: I think if you’re so self-conscious about something, why not get it done? I don’t see what the harm is, really. I know people who have had nose jobs and they’re really subtle. The whole point is that if something’s done well, nobody knows!

Are there any celebs you think have gone too far with their plastic surgery?

S: I think the worst example is the socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, 68 – ‘the Bride of Wildenstein.’ But I think Sharon Osbourne looks fabulous after her surgery.

Kim: The glamour girl Alicia Douvall, 28. She’s had so many boob jobs.

I’m not saying I look wonderful, but you do tend to worry less about your appearance the older you get.

Would either of you consider having a nip/tuck in the future?

S: I don’t think I’d ever touch my face. But if and when – God willing – I have a couple of children, who knows? Maybe I’d resort to a breast lift or tummy tuck to feel sexy about myself again. But I wouldn’t want to reinvent myself or anything like that – I’d only ever want to get myself back to how I was. But right now it’s certainly not for me – in fact it scares the living daylights out of me.

K: I wouldn’t do it now, but I suppose once I’ve had kids I might go and get something done. Maybe when my arse

is dragging along the floor, I might go and get a bit of an uplift!

Has your attitude to your body changed as you’ve got older?

S: I’m not saying I look wonderful, but you do tend to worry less about your appearance the older you get.

My early 20s were a nightmare for worrying about what other people thought about me.

K: Seeing yourself on television from all angles can be hard on your self-esteem, but I feel much more relaxed about the way I look, and don’t get obsessed about that sort of stuff now.
