You can save quite a bit of money on your trips with discount cards, so we've found some of the best you should invest your hard-earned cash into…

Cineworld Unlimited Card

Cineworld's Unlimited Card is available to everyone – and only it costs £16.90 per month (or £19.90 for the West End cinemas)!

That’s less than the price of two new-release peak time tickets.

The card enables users to watch an unlimited amount of films each month, any time, any day, and has lots of extra benefits, too:

    The Tastecard is one of the biggest restaurant discount cards with over 6,500 to choose from and costs just £39.99 a year.

    With this discount card you get 50% off or 2for1 meals on loads of restaurants across the country including:

      At the moment Tastecard are offering a 3 month trial for just £1 using the code APR16POP – but this will automatically renew and you will then be charged the annual fee.

      Gourmet Society

      Much like Tastecard, the Gourmet Society gives you discounts on restaurants up and down the country.

      With this discount card you will either get 2for1 meals, 50% off the food bill or 25% off the total bill, depending on which restaurant you dine at.

      These include some of the same as Tastecard, but also include the following:

        National Rail Railcards

        National Rail offers a variety of different discounts, which can save you a third off your train fare.

        Two Together Railcard - £30 for a whole year

        Get a third off two adult fares when travelling together – so if you split this with the other person you'll be travelling with you could split the price of the discount card.

        16-25 Railcard - £30 for a whole year / £70 for three years

        Anyone aged between 16 to 25 (or a mature student (26+) in full time study) can receive a third off their fares.

        Family & Friends Railcard - £30 for a whole year / £70 for three years

        Adults can save a third, while kids can save 60% on train fares when they travel together. This offer is valid for up to four adults and four children.

        Senior Railcard - £30 for a whole year / £70 for three years

        If you're 60 or over, you can save a third on train fares.

        Disabled Persons Railcard - £20 for a whole year / £54 for three years

        If you have a disability that makes train travel difficult you can apply for this railcard which gives you and one adult travelling with you a third off your fares.

        HM Forces Railcard - £15 for a whole year

        If you are a member of the Regular Forces, or a spouse of a member, you can save a third off your rail fares.

        There are also regional railcards available in some areas of the country too.

        Merlin Annual Pass

        To access some of the UK's top attractions, then the Merlin Annual Pass might well be worth investing in!

        The pass includes lots of attractions across the country including:

          A Standard Pass costs £169pp or you can buy a Premium pass for £209pp.

          There are some exclusions for Standard Pass holders, but if you're planning lots of trips to these UK attractions in one year, this discount will save you a lot of money!

          You can pay a monthly membership for £7.50 or an annual membership for £75, which can save you money on days out, cinema trips, family breaks and the kids can even eat free at hundreds of restaurants.
