There's a brand new visual conundrum that's messing with people's heads – and this time, it's a shoe that's got everyone's knickers in a twist.

Nicole Coulthard uploaded a photo of a trainer to a Facebook group, asking people what colours they could see in the photo - and it's a HUMDINGER of an optical illusion.
Many can see a grey trainer with bright turquoise laces, but others argue that it's a pink trainer with white laces.
In a post to Facebook group Girlsmouth, Nicole wrote: "Ok girls, so my friend has just sent me this asking what colour the shoe is.
"I would say pale pink and white, but she insists it's pale blue and grey. What do you girls see? Please tell me pink and white!"
The controversial post sparked a HUGE debate with the women in the group, garnering over 1,000 comments in a single day.
Nicola spoke to Metro, telling them it has caused a huge argument: "She texted back saying they are pink mum, but when she looked at the pic she saw blue too.
"She sent it to me and I was convinced they are pink, we had a big argument as she said I only said pink because I knew she had bought pink shoes so that’s why I decided to put it up."
Wowza.
So, the moment of truth.

Here in the Closer Online office, we are VERY torn – most of us are seeing turquoise laces on a grey shoe, but a couple of people have seen pink trainer and white laces.
But we decided to conduct a little experiment, to see if we could actually see both colours.
Going back to the dress, the temperature was altered on the original photo, and people were then able to see the different options.
So look what happens when we turn up the temperature on this pic of the shoes...
