For 2016, it seems it's all about ditching the hair extensions and embracing the au natural hair, according to celebs like Amy Childs, Lydia Bright and Kylie Jenner
Usually always one for everything glam, Amy Childs has taken a more natural look for the new year.
Well, she's ditched the extensions and debuted a brilliant short 'do - she still rocking her signature striking red shade though, which we love.
The former TOWIE star took to Instagram to show off her new style to her followers, uploading this snap:
She's been posting pics with her long hair too since this snap, so although the reality star isn't banishing the mermaid look for good, but we're glad to see she's embracing her natural look a little bit more!
Last week at the Sun Military Awards, the red head showed off her shorter style out and about, complemented by a stunning red dress.
Other stars to embrace the extension-free look include Lydia Bright and Kylie Jenner.
Speaking to OK! magazine, Lydia said: "I've had hair extensions for 2 years and I was saying I'd love to have all my extensions out and be natural.
"It's good to give your hair a break from extensions in order to give your hair some deep conditioning treatments and to give your own locks a good cut."
Kylie Jenner spoke about her shorter hair on her blog, explaining how her and her friends think 2016 is the year to be more "natural" and that sometimes it all becomes too high maintenance.
