Ed Sheeran has a doppelganger in the form of toddler Isla from Exeter
Ed Sheeran is having a great time at the moment – he's currently got nine songs in the UK top ten, and his latest album ÷ was released to rave reviews.
Now cute toddler Isla from Exeter, Devon, is receiving almost as much attention as Ed himself, after a Twitter user pointed out her remarkable resemblance to the singer.
"Why does this baby look more like Ed Sheeran than Ed Sheeran does?" posted Twitter user Tom Davies, who, according to Buzzfeed, does not know Isla or her mum Zoe Walton.
"I did get comments from our family that she looks like Ed for a while, but only last week did we decide to put [the photo] online," Walton explained.
The image if Isla, looking into the camera with a very Sheeran-like expression, quickly went viral, with some social media posters even joking that Ed might actually be her father (as far as we know, he isn't).
Walton said the attention is "mindblowing" and said she's a fan of Ed.
This isn't the first time a lookalike baby has sent the internet into a frenzy - back in 2014, a very John Legend-esque baby got over 34,000 retweets. Doesn't quite beat Isla's 82,000, but it's still impressive.
