Yesterday, we reported the tragic story of Mikey Murrel, who passed away on the sofa of his family home after his wife - Ashley - banished him to the sofa rollowing a massive row.

But today, in a shocking twist, The Sun have revealed that just two months after her husband's sudden death, Ashely is in a new realtionship... with Mikey's brother, Chris!

After Mikey's death, Ashley became close to her brother-in-law and as he reportedly supported her through her grief, romance blossomed.

A friend of the couple told the publication: "Chris and Ashley have been through so much but they have really been there for each other.

"It's strange how from something so awful, something good can happen. They are really happy together."

Whilst many were quick to criticise Ashley on Facebook, one Closer Online reader reminded everyone not to judge those they don't know.

They wrote: "Grief can make you do strange things after losing the love of your life. Shouldn't be so judgemental. You can't pass judgement unless you have had her journey."

Mikey passed away on 16 May this year at the age of 36, but his cause of death is inconclusive.

The couple's row broke out after Mikey returned home absolutely exhausted from another 16-hour working shift as a carpet cleaner, and Ashley was concerned for his welfare.

She said: "The hours he was working were just getting too much. He was so exhausted all the time and he was running himself into the ground and his health was going downhill fast.

"When he came home that night he was a mess, I had never seen him so exhausted. I couldn't stand seeing him like that and I got angry. I was sick of it. I had a go at him and told him to sleep on the sofa which was stupid because I really just wanted him around more."

Ashley's eulogy at Mikey's funeral urged other couples to make sure they never go to sleep on an argument.

It read: "Go kiss your loved ones and tell them you care. Let them know you love them as they may not always be there. Say goodnight at bedtime and always kiss goodbye because one day, you never know, they may grow wings and fly.

"Live everyday as if it's your last and let go of bad things in the past. Our lives are too short and they go fast. If I could say something it would be this, life is hard but loving you was bliss. It's not been easy but my heart is yours, it will always be."
