Who loves crisp sandwiches? Well, you’re going to be delighted with the latest foodie news.

England’s first ever crisp sandwich shop is set to open it’s doors in Keighley, West Yorkshire, much to the delight of sandwich lovers up and down the country.

42-year-old Mark Pearson will sell countless varieties of the delicious snack. Hula hoops, Skips and Pombears will be served in the cosy confines of bread, baguettes and even tea cakes!

He hopes his new venture, ‘Mr Crisp’, will prove to be popular with his hungry customers.

"I have always had an idea to launch a crisp sandwich shop,” Mr Pearson said.

"When I saw the one launch in Belfast, I thought the only way I can find out if a crisp sandwich shop can succeed over here is by giving it a go myself.”

He continued, telling The Mirror: “I sat on the idea for six months, working on sourcing which crisps and flavours to have and doing some market research.

"Now I feel the time is now or never.

"I could either sit on the fence and get left behind or go and take a chance."

Along with a selection of crisps, customers can also choose from ketchup, salad cream, peanut butter, jam or even marshmallow condiments.
