The power of makeup!
Russian makeup artist Goar Avetisyan has demonstrated just how powerful makeup can be with an incredible makeover on an acne sufferer.
In a series of posts on her Instagram, the 23-year-old blogger showed the lady before and after her makeover, and the results are quite frankly amazing.
Writing on Instagram, Goar explained that she's contacted by lots of people asking for makeovers, but chose this lady as she was so touched by her story. She went on to explain that the woman has been struggling with her acne for two years, and that nothing has been able to cure it, despite her visiting skin specialists.

Although Goar admitted that makeup isn't a longterm solution, stressing she wasn't promoting 'covering up and not treating' acne, she said she was happy that she could make the lady feel "really beautiful and feminine," and said she hoped other acne sufferers might be able to use her makeup tips for special occasions.
And her posts have certainly made an impact.
The video has been viewed over 1.4 million times, and received and over 3,000 comments.
One person wrote: "Awesome! The beauty of makeup"
While another added: "This is basically me. I always go out with thick and heavy makeup so people won't look at me with disgust due to my nodule acne but this video gives me inspiration"
And a third chimmed in: "Aww it looks like she's tearing up at the end. So pretty"
Want to create this look at home? Then you're in luck, as Goar kindly posted a handy how-to online:
MAC Prep + Prime – this gives the skin a natural glow.
Benefit the POREfessional – this makes the skin matte, removes its shine and fills the skin slightly so it's all one level.
Avant Scene Green colour corrector – This neutralises the redness
Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup – this helps hide everything without your foundation looking plastered on
After letting your foundation dry for 5-10 minutes, then apply powder to set your makeup.
