But on the contrary they insist they’re not only very much in love, but soulmates and planning a long future together.
And they have found in each other a mutual love and openness to all things sexual; so much so they now run a business as sex educators – helping other adults to unravel any sexual hang ups or concerns about techniques, complete with demonstrations.
Jojo, 39, who has a nine-year-old son from a previous relationship, explains: “We love sex – every aspect of it from doing it to talking about it!
"For us, sex can be making love with each other or having sex with other people at swinging parties or many things in between.
“The main thing is, of course, our relationship, but if we feel like experimenting with other people then that’s fine too.
"We are both very sexually open to ideas. There’s still so much shame associated with sex, which causes problems and we want to help break that down.
"We have lots of clients from all ages and all occupations, from a professor to bus drivers, couples and single men and women. They need help so we give it to them.”
