With her glossy brown locks, perfectly plumped lips and contoured cheek-bones, uber glam Kairah Kelly could easily be mistaken for global reality star Kim Kardashian.
Incredibly the 15-year-old from Middelsborough was born a boy called Tyler and spent years struggling with her gender.
Just a year ago Tyler realised he wanted to live as a girl and bravely revealed his feelings to mum Angela, 30, who was fully supportive.
Now Kairah, 15, is now living as a girl and models herself on reality star Kim.
Angela, who is married to baker Chris, 49, and has another daughter Lilliah, nine, says: “Kairah’s always been a huge fan of the Kardashians and looks fantastic as Kim. She’s brilliant with make-up and I often get her to do mine.
“She used to be so unhappy as a boy, now she’s enjoying life as a girl.
“Kairah’s been referred for gender identity treatment and hopes to have gender reassignment surgery in future.
"I’ll support her all the way and I’m so glad she’s finally happy.”
