Thanks to the likes of Paranormal Activity, there’s nothing more terrifying than eerie CCTV footage.

And, thanks to the likes of The Others and The Exorcist, there’s also nothing scarier than the thought of a possessed child.

Which is why THIS video has left so many rational people quivering in their boots.

In the video, captured on a Nanny Cam, we watch as a toddler named Connor becomes frustrated inside his cot.

After a few moments of fussing, he pulls himself up on the railing… and balances perfectly on it for longer than we would have thought possible.

Check it out:

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE?!?

Since the video went live on YouTube, there have been tons of theories circling the Internet about what’s going on here.

Some people believe that he was possessed - or, at the very least, being held up by a demon.

One wrote: “I believe it was spirit holding him up. That's why he was crying so hard - he was terrified.”

Another viewer agreed, saying: “Maybe he saw what the camera didn’t - and maybe whatever he saw made him bellow like that.”

“Omg that’s a demon,” added another flatly.

Others have said that this is an elaborate spoof, and that the tiny tot is being held up by strings - or, you know, photoshopped in.

“Fake. 100% fake,” said one.

Another added: “You can see the strings, people!”

Others have said this is a VERY normal thing for toddlers to do and he does just have good balance: “Anyone who thinks this is a fake clearly doesn’t have a kid of their own.”

However the majority of comments have been aimed at little Connor’s parents, accusing them of negligence for allowing him to clamber into such a precarious spot.

“WHERE ARE THE PARENTS?!?!” ranted one.

Another fumed: “I can't tell what was the situation with the parents when all that was happening but I hope other parents learn that they need to be more attentive towards their child.”
