A-list doppelgängers Amy Adams and Isla Fisher are totally up there on the list of redheads whose style we want to steal - and now the pair will be teaming up for the first time on-screen to star in a new film directed by fashion maverick Tom Ford.
Nocturnal Animals is based on the novel by Austin Wright released in the '90s called Tony and Susan - which follows a story about a married woman (played by Amy) who discovers a crime thriller manuscript written by her husband (Jake Gyllenhall) that bears an eerie resemblance to their own relationship.
Amy and Isla's resemblence comes into play in the film as Tom Ford reveals the Confessions of Shopaholic actress 'represents Amy's character' in the 'story-within-a-story'.
The film will also star our latest crush, Armie Hammer - last seen opposite Alicia Vikander in Guy Ritchie's action flick The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
The film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in September and will be Tom’s second turn as a director. His first feature film, A Single Man, was released in 2009 and similarly based on the novel - by Christopher Isherwood.
The stylish smash-hit debut, starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore, was well received by the critics, and scored an Oscar-nomination for Colin Firth and a slew of award wins.
And true to (fashion) form, the film wasn’t just praised for the actors talents. Tom Ford’s first film set in the 1960’s was a masterclass in style – from the perfect LBD to top tailoring.
We can’t wait to see the wardrobe in Nocturnal Animals.
