Since her new album Lemonade dropped at the weekend, it's safe to say Beyonce has had a headline or two...

With its numerous references to infidelity and betrayal, the album invited the glare of the media spotlight to shine down harshly on her 8-year marriage to rapper Jay Z.

Many stars have come out in support of Beyonce over the issues her new album has raised.

Anne Hathaway, for instance, took to Instagram to praise the singer's new body of work in its entirety. Posting a video of herself to the opening notes of Halo, when the beat kicks in, Anne lifts her head, takes a breath and raises her left hand, on which a 'B' has been clearly transcribed.

She captioned the post: 'Respect beyond respect. @Beyonce just changed so many games. Queen just became an Empress. Chills all over. #LEMONADE 🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋💛🍋'

Similarly, singer Zendaya posted this to Twitter:

And later this...

Singer The Weeknd, who features in the Lemonade track '6 inch', also praised Queen Bey, simply tweeting:

Whilst, actress Kerry Washington went into slightly more detail, writing...
