Ever since Beyoncé pulled the ultimate Beyoncé move with her double pregnancy announcement last night, revealing that her and husband Jay-Z are expecting twins later in the year, the Internet - and the Beyhive in particular - went into meltdown.
Fans have already begun to comb the singer's notoriously stage-managed social media profiles for any whispers, hints or clues about what was to come - however cryptic. Who doesn't like a good conspiracy theory, after all?
First, a mysterious tweet resurfaced from Twitter user @beyoncefan666, predicting back in July 2016 that the singer would announce a pregnancy the following February. Then, following extensive and in-depth analysis, the Beyhive has reached the collective conclusion that Queen Bey actually dropped us a major hint about her news back in December - and after reviewing the evidence, we're inclined to agree.
As a Christmas gift to her fans, the singer posted a video to Instagram in late December, showing close-ups of the Carter-Knowles family's festive decorations cut with pictures of Bey posing happily, smiling and - crucially - making a peace sign.
Seeming innocuous enough at the time, eagle-eyed fans have noticed that the clip includes back to back images of the singer raising two fingers - that's one for each baby - before making a heart sign and then apparently clutching her stomach. Twins! And just like that, an innocent Instagram post acquires a hidden meaning...
