There's no denying that the biggest talking point at the Grammys was the love story which played out between Beyoncé and Adele.
When the Hello singer won Best Album, undoubtedly the most prestigious award of the ceremony, Adele used the stage to celebrate her biggest idol.
Proving that she is the Queen of Beyoncé fans, the 28-year-old singer snapped her Grammy in half and tearfully said: ‘I can’t possibly accept this award. I’m very humbled and I’m very grateful and gracious, but the artist of my life is Beyoncé and this album to me, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental.’
And the touching tribute to her long-term muse did not stop there. The singer was also spotted wearing a Lemonade brooch at the star-studded event to emphasise her appreciation of Beyoncé’s album.
And now, the favour has been returned in the sweetest way. Last week, Beyoncé and her five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy attended the world premiere of The Beauty and The Beast in co-ordinating Gucci dresses. What else?
And fans were quick to spot a touching tribute to Adele embroidered into Blue’s $2,100 dress. If you look closely, you can see a dainty ‘25’ stitched into a heart, which just so happens to be Adele’s Grammy winning album title.
Talk about friendship goals.
