Strategy and innovation consultant (a very Miranda job title, we might add) Dan Clay first came up with the idea when he dressed up as his fashion hero last Halloween - wearing the most iconic Carrie Bradshaw look of all time (that pink tutu and vest, obviously). FYI: you can actually by this tulle skirt from SATC costume designer Patricia Field’s online store. He swiftly posted the image on his Instagram @dan_clay. And so a legend was born.
‘I have wanted to be Carrie Bradshaw for Halloween ever since college, when I had HBO in my frat room and girls would come over and watch Sex and the City on Sundays,’ he said. ‘I would pretend that I hated it because I didn't want to give myself away. Well, the secret's out, and this is the happiest day of my life.’
Since then, Dan has garnered the biggest accolade, in the form of Sarah Jessica Parker. ‘Oh my L_ord! Words cannot convey. A triumph. Xxx,’ the actress commented. The HRH of #wardrobegoals has spoken.
