With Christmas a mere five days away, our Instagram feed is awash with festive snaps. From arty shots of twinkling lights to smug pics of home baked mince pies, we have reached peak Christmas on social media.
And when it comes to Christmas festivities, the celebs have outdone us once again. Whether it’s towering trees, extravagant decorations or festive fancy dress, when the stars celebrate the holidays, understated is not an option.

Beyonce’s multiple Christmas trees
Beyonce took to Instagram to share a photo slideshow of her festive decorations. Set to Tamar Braxton's cover of Sleigh Ride, the montage includes pics of her disco themed 10ft tree, a mini Lemonade themed tree, and Queen B herself in a plunging dress and reindeer horns.
Kim and Kanye’s decadent decorations
Unsurprisingly, Kim and Kanye’s approach to Christmas is far from subtle. Over the weekend Kim took to Snapchat to show fans her huge tinsel covered tree.
The outside of their home was also give a suitably festive makeover. Kim’s best friend Jonathan Cheban shared a photo of the couple’s LA mansion draped in lights from head to toe.
Kendall’s Pinterest-worthy tree
Leave it to Kendall to offer up a chic take on home decor for the holiday period. The model shared a snap of her all white tree against a blush pink wall.
Sharon and Kelly Osbourne's team effort
The Osbourne family Christmas tree is so tall that Kelly needs a ladder to reach the top branches as Sharon looks on, making sure no baubles are out of place.
Michelle Obama keeping the Christmas spirit alive
In case we needed more reasons to love the Obamas, here's Michelle answering the phone for the North American Aerospace Defence Command's (NORAD) annual Santa-tracking service.
Chrissy Teigen's Hatchimal
Chrissy was one of the lucky ones to get her hands on this season's must-have toy, the Hatchimal. Judging by that caption, we're not sure who'll have more fun with it – Chrissy or her baby daughter Luna (who also looks totally adorable).
