If you were Chris Martin - lead singer of Coldplay, eight-time Brit award and seven-time Grammy award winner, and seller of over 60 million records - who would you turn to for advice?

Your daughter, Apple, of course!

Ahead of his performance at this year's Super Bowl 50 – the most watched television show of the year – Martin, 38, revealed to CBS News that his 11-year-old firstborn has helped to settle his nerves.

Speaking at the weekend, he said she asked how he was feeling about his performance on Sunday's Halftime show. Given that it will be screened live to roughly 110 million people, understandably Martin responded: 'Of course we're a little bit nervous.'

The Brit singer then told the news show: 'She said to me, "Dad, the worst that could happen is you'll get turned into a meme. And after a month or so, people will just forget!"'

How's that for cute advice? And also... how true...!

Martin is expected to perfom songs from Coldplay's new album A Head Full Of Dreams, with the rumour mill churning into overdrive that Beyoncé – who collaborated with the band on their latest single 'Hymn For The Weekend' – will perform onstage alongside them.

Obviously, we hope she does. And that Coldplay (and Martin) rock it without a hitch. (Although we can't deny a Chris Martin-Beyoncé meme might just make our Monday.)
