Chrissy Teigen: Is Cannes Just A Red Carpet?

Chrissy Teigen has a knack for saying what's on our mind - sometimes before we even realise it's what we're thinking. She's always taking down Trump on Twitter (and has been since before he ran for President), has an excellent retort for every troll on Instagram and is outspoken about her views on just about everything.

Her latest insight is in to the Cannes Film Festival, the glamorous soiree currently taking place in the south of France, attended by the likes of models Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Hailey Baldwin. And while there are plenty of actresses in town promoting their films - see Nicole Kidman, Kirsten Dunst and Elle Fanning - there is an overwhelming number of celebrities who just seem to be there for the red carpet (not that we are complaining - Cannes wouldn't be Cannes without Bella's incredibly daring dresses).

Well, this has gotten model Chrissy Teigen confused.

She's got a point. She's also got a theory about where the red carpets lead to, and how it all works, too...

We can't imagine Cannes without the mega-watt glamour, but it would be nice if the films themselves got as much publicity. Just saying.
