John Legend has previously opened up about his and wife Chrissy Teigen's struggle to conceive daughter Luna, but it looks like trying for a second baby is now firmly on the agenda.

Teigen, who is on the cover of November's InStyle, revealed that her and Legend had had three embryos for IVF treatment - she said: 'The first little girl didn't work, and then the second is Luna,'. The third embryo is expected to be implanted in the coming months.

Teigen talked about fertility struggles back in 2015, when she revealed to The FABLife that she and Legend would have had children 'five or six years ago, if it had happened' (they've now been together over 10 years), before urging people not to ask couples when they were planning to have children: 'It's a sweet question. It comes from a good place but sometimes you never know what the person is going through. You're like, 'I'm trying.' What I really want to say is, 'I'm trying and I can't.' I wanted to talk about it for so long, it just didn't feel right to tweet like, 'Ugh, doing my IVF shots again.'

Legend told Cosmo in August this year 'I think it’s especially difficult when you can’t conceive naturally. You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not. I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help. We’re lucky that we’re living in an age where we can conceive in other ways. [IVF] brought us Luna and hopefully it will bring us a few more awesome kids, too.'

Teigen also spoke about her struggle with Post Partum Depression in the InStyle cover interview, saying 'I thought I was just being a selfish a—hole. I have really good days and really bad days, and I don't tend to talk about the really bad days. But I would hate for people to think those days didn't exist.' She said, 'It wasn’t just a mental thing of, you know, ‘I’m sad'. I actually couldn’t move.'
