The next installment of American Crime Story, the anthology series from American Horror Story and Feud creator Ryan Murphy, is set to air in the UK on BBC Two.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace will unpick the 1997 murder of Donatella Versace's brother Gianni Versace, who was shot on the steps of his Miami Beach home. It follows the widespread success of The People Vs OJ Simpson, which aired on BBC Two last year.

Oscar-winning actress, Penelope Cruz, is set to star as Gianni's sister Donatella, with a new promo shot for the series showing her wearing a black mourning veil over the designer's trademark platinum blonde hair. Edgar Ramirez will play Versace himself, and will be joined by Glee's Darren Criss as killer Andrew Cunanan and Ricky Martin (yes, that Ricky Martin) as Versace's partner Antonio D'Amico.

'I am thrilled that another season of American Crime Story is coming to BBC Two. Ryan Murphy and his team created something truly special with The People vs. OJ Simpson, winning a much merited BAFTA amongst a host of other awards,' said BBC Two's controller Patrick Holland. 'With British writer Tom Rob Smith, one of the most exciting talents in television drama, across season two, The Assassination of Gianni Versace promises to be captivating viewing.'
Earlier promo shots for the series debuted in Entertainment Weekly and showed Cruz photographed in Gianni Versace's Miami mansion, channelling Donatella in a fuchsia pink dress and blonde wig.
The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story is set in 1997 and Tom Rob Smith, who wrote the BBC show London Spy, will work as a co-producer on the show.
