We recentlyreported that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had decided to end their 13-year marriage back in August. But in shocking news reported by *US Weekly *it's claimed that Bush rocker Rossdale had been having a three-year affair with the couple's long-time nanny. Not only that, but it is thought that Stefani herself uncovered the affair.
According to the magazine, the No Doubt singer discovered explicit texts between her husband and nanny, Mindy Mann, on the 'family' iPad – messages which included naked snap shots of Mann, and plans to meet up for sex.
'The iPad was linked to Gavin’s phone,' a source revealed. 'One of the other nannies discovered the exchange and told Gwen.'
*Us Weekly *reports that she confronted Rossdale on 9th February; he initially tried to fob the messages off as mere 'flirtation' and Mann was subsequently sacked.
But months later, they say he came clean and the couple filed for divorce soon after.
This would mean that the affair lasted for more than three years - including the time Stefani was pregnant with the couple's youngest son, Apollo (now 20 months).
The couple have two other children – Kingston, 9, and Zuma, 7.
Stefani was 'devastated' at the discovery, the report claims, citing that she felt 'livid' and 'embarrassed'.
While recent rumours indicate Stefani is now back in the dating game, during an interview on Monday – with KIIS-FM's Jojo Wright – Stefani said of that period earlier this year: 'Everybody knows that my life blew up last February. [I've] just been dealing with that.'
