Karlie Kloss’ talents know no bounds.
Amongst her numerous catwalk appearances and scoring the most coveted fashion campaigns, she still manages to find time to teach girls how to code, host her own YouTube channel 'Klossy' and attend classes at NYU.
Showing no signs of slowing down any time soon the 24-year-old entrepreneur is now moving into television. And no, it’s not presenting America’s Next Top Model.
Instead, Karlie will be starring in a new science programme landing on Netflix next Spring: Bill Nye Saves the World. Coolest science teacher, ever? Er, yes. She will also be joined by fellow correspondents Joanna Hausmann, Nazeem Hussain, Emily Calandrelli and Derek Muller – discussing the impact science has had on everything from religion, culture to politics.
Bill’s fashionable sidekick will be offering her own ‘nerdy’ insights, teasing fans on social media about her new role.
‘We’ll be talking about every nerdy thing you can think of - so be sure to tune in,’ the model announced on Instagram.
Just last summer Kloss revealed a scholarship programme to encourage women to pursue careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math). ‘I think it's crucial that young women learn to code as early as possible to ensure that we, as women, have a voice and a stake in what the world looks like.'
