Last week, it was reported that Kendall Jenner had fallen victim to a robbery at her Hollywood home. It was originally believed that the model was out of the house all day on Wednesday only to come home and find her jewllery missing.
But according to a new reports by TMZ, the initial story is inaccurate. Jenner reportedly hosted a party with friends on Wednesday night and left her Hollywood residence for around an hour. The model returned just after midnight to find her jewellery box open and empty. The 21-year-old immediately alerted the police.
A source told People: “Kendall’s really upset about it. She’s been telling her friends that the situation totally sucks. She’s had people over at her house today to up security and they’re talking about getting more cameras put in. It’s definitely looking like it was someone she knew.”
According to TMZ, the model's home has surveillance cameras and police hope that the footage will help the investigation. It is speculated that the burglary was an 'inside job'.
The model has reportedly fired the bodyguard who was on duty the night of the event.
The reported robbery at Kendall’s home is one of many recent celebrity burglaries, as Nicki Minaj, Alanis Morissette and Nick Young have also been targeted this year.
