She's never made any secret of the fact she struggles living life in the public eye. But at a recent press conference to promote for her new film Personal Shopper, Kristen Stewart has described quite how horrifying she actually finds it.

'[You] feel so incapable of going to the store,' she revealed to journalists in Cannes. 'Well, technically you can, but it proves to be logistically not worth it.'

'Sometimes I do feel a little bit like I have my limbs cut off,' she added.

Eek!

'That’s not to say that [fame] is a bad feeling,' she continued. 'But it is surreal.'

Quite a revelation, indeed... But that's not the only thing Kristen has hit the headlines for today...

As the credits rolled for Personal Shopper at a screening yesterday, critics (who have largely praised the Olivier Assayas film) were dumbfounded to hear a series of boos echo out from around the audience.

In fact, so surprised were they, some even took to Twitter to convey their dismay.

The Guardian's Nigel M Smith tweeted:

Whilst Indiewire's David Ehrlich wrote:

Cannes Film Festival is no stranger to boos (as it is, no stranger to standing ovations neither). But interestingly, a 'boo' at Cannes is not necessarily a bad omen. In fact, a 'boo' could actually be a good thing; not only does it increase interest in a film, but in some cases, makes it more likely that cinema-goers will give it a try.

Strange logic, but all true, apparently...

So there's no reason for Kristen to worry really. With the critics on-side there's still a chance Personal Shopper might win the Palme D'Or it's down for, and maybe even a gong in next year's awards ceremony season too, who knows?!
