Let the wedding preparations begin: Meghan Markle has touched down in the UK ahead of Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews, which is set to take place on Saturday.

Flying in to Heathrow for the occasion, Meghan was driven straight from the airport to Kensington Palace, where she will be staying with Prince Harry, her boyfriend of nearly one year. The perks of dating a royal, hey?

It was recently revealed that Meghan will attend both Pippa’s church ceremony and the wedding reception, set to be held on the Middleton family’s 18 acre estate, despite previous reports of a ‘no ring, no ring’ guest list policy. Meghan and Harry are not yet engaged, making their attending such a high profile event together an unusual departure from royal protocol that perhaps proves how committed the couple are to one another.

While Meghan has reportedly been introduced to close members of Harry's family (and even presented the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, with a 'dream journal' for her birthday), she has not yet been photographed with them.

Meghan and Harry made their first appearance at a public event at the Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park earlier this month. The actress was pictured cheering on the Prince as he took part in a charity polo match with his older brother, and the pair were later spotted embracing in a car park.
