Meghan Markle Will Be In The Congregation At Pippa Middleton's Wedding

Pippa Middleton is set to marry long-term boyfriend James Matthews on May 20, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte on page boy and bridesmaid duties respectively, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry in the congregation.

But while it was previously assumed that Meghan Markle, the Prince’s girlfriend of nearly one year, would only be invited to the evening party, The Telegraph has revealed that the Suits actress will in fact be in attendance at the church ceremony at St Mark’s in Engelfield.

In attending the nuptials with his girlfriend, the Prince will depart from royal protocol, which prohibits partners from being brought as plus ones to high profile events unless an engagement has been previously announced.

Earlier this year, Harry and Meghan attended the wedding of the Prince’s close friend Tom Inskip in Jamaica. At the time, a source revealed that ‘this the first time that she and Harry have socialised so openly as a couple and is a significant step up in their relationship.’

Previously, it was reported that Pippa told friends she would enforce a strict ‘no ring, no bring’ policy, ensuring that Meghan would be left off the guest list.

Just this weekend, Meghan was photographed taking her place in the Royal Box at Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot as she watched Harry take part in a polo match with his older brother, William. Having previously chosen to keep their relationship low-key and away from the glare of the cameras, this trip marked a major milestone in their relationship.

Could Meghan herself be soon to take a trip down the aisle? Surely the signs are all there…
