The Obamas are set to leave the White House this Friday to make room for President-elect Donald Trump and his family.

Ahead of the inauguration, we've heard Trump's countless and often controversial plans for presidency but Melania has remained schtum about her role as First Lady. Until now.

Despite only intending on visiting the White House at weekends, as she wants to make sure that 11-year-old son Barron finishes the school year in New York first, she is already planning ‘a room designated for hair, makeup and wardrobe’.

The news comes after we caught a rare glimpse into life at the White House, as the Bush sisters shared nostalgic images of Sasha and Malia Obama’s first ever visit. The girls were visibly bowled over by the large cushioned seats of the cinema room and the four-poster beds, as they joyously slid down the banisters of the stately home.

But it seems this wasn't enough for Melania.

The future First Lady’s plans were revealed by her make-up artist of ten years, Nicole Bryl, who told Stylish: “Melania wants a room with the most perfect lighting scenario, which will make our jobs as a creative team that much more efficient, since great lighting can make or break any look."

And according to Bryl, lighting is as much an essential for the 43-year-old, as it is for Kim Kardashian, as one makeup session can ‘take about one hour and 15 minutes of uninterrupted focus’.

We wonder what Michelle will think…
