Royal fans, rejoice! A documentary solely dedicated to Prince Harry is in the works.

The show will follow the prince on his journey back to Lesotho, the African country where he founded charity, Sentebale, in 2006.

Harry launched Sentebale ten years ago with the help of Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to help provide support for the country with the world’s second highest prevalence of HIV. The charity aims to give children and young people affected by the disease support with access to education, care and psychosocial services.

The documentary will also document the special relationship Harry founded with four-year-old Mutsu, a young boy from the local orphanage. Like Harry, who lost his mother Princess Diana when he was just 12, Mutsu also lost a parent at a young age.

Ever since meeting, Mutsu has regularly written to the prince on his progress. The ITV show will visit the heart-warming moment Harry was reunited with Mutsu as a teenager in 2014.

Head of Factual Entertainment on ITV, Sue Murphy, said: ‘It’s fascinating to observe Prince Harry from boy to man, to see him following in his mother’s humanitarian footsteps and to witness his undeniable commitment and passion for his work in Africa.’

The documentary will also feature an interview Prince Harry took part in with ITV journalist Tom Bradby, where he discussed his reasons for founding Sentebale and his hopes for the future of the charity.

The highly-anticipated show will air on December 19 at 9pm.
