Prince Harry has flown out from London to Toronto, seemingly to spend the Easter weekend with his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle, who is currently based in the Canadian city while she films the latest season of Suits. See, romance isn't dead after all...

On Wednesday night, Harry was photographed wearing a baseball cap and carrying a large duffel bag as he emerged from a car and made his way towards Meghan’s Toronto residence. While the duration of the Prince’s Canadian trip has not been confirmed, we can surely assume that Harry will be spending the full Easter holiday with his girlfriend of nearly a year. Artisan Easter egg, anyone?

It’s thought to be the first time the couple have seen each other since March, when Harry set the bar for boyfriends everywhere by booking out London’s Natural History Museum for a late night visit, though Meghan is reported to have previously stayed at Harry’s Kensington Palace residence for extended periods, with some sources suggesting the actress on the verge of moving in.

Last week, Meghan announced that she would be shutting down her lifestyle site The Tig, bidding goodbye to her ‘passion project’ in a post which explained: ‘After close to three beautiful years on this adventure with you, it’s time to say goodbye to The Tig. What began as a passion project (my little engine that could) evolved into an amazing community of inspiration, support, fun and frivolity.’

Naturally, this development sent the royal rumour mill into overdrive, quickly sparking speculation that an engagement between Harry and Meghan is imminent.
