There’s nothing like the pressure of bringing home a new partner to introduce to the family. But imagine if your grandma is the Queen of England. Spare a thought for poor Harry.

Thankfully, Queen Elizabeth has reportedly given her grandson her blessing. According to US WeeklyUS Weekly, she is ‘fully supportive’ of the prince and Meghan's flourishing friendship and is ‘delighted to see Harry in a loving relationship’.

The Suits actress has yet to meet the Queen but Kate Middleton reportedly had to wait five years to meet Her Majesty. Nothing like building up the anticipation.

Meghan has already gained the support of some royal members however, as Prince William quickly dispelled any rumours that he was not supportive of their relationship in a statement issued by Kensington Palace.

The statement read: “The Duke of Cambridge absolutely understands the situation concerning privacy and supports the need for Prince Harry to support those closest to him.”

Since their relationship was inadvertently confirmed by Harry back in November, the couple have been spotted in London for the first time together. It was also recently reported that Harry took a 1,700 mile detour from his royal tour of the Caribbean to spend time with Meghan in Toronto, where the actress is filming the latest season of Suits. It’s the kind of fairy tale material you couldn’t make up.

And it seems the pair are well and truly besotted with each other. A source told US WeeklyUS Weekly, “I can see them engaged by the spring. He’s head over heels.”

Could there be another royal wedding on the cards for 2017? We sure hope so.
