Selena Gomez and The Weeknd made their red carpet debut as a couple this week at the Met Gala after months of dating, and now they've hit another relationship milestone, meeting the parents.
Selena has already met the Weeknd's family earlier last month, with the singer's mother reportedly 'adoring' her,
while her own mum gave her seal of approval on social media, saying about a picture of the couple at the Met Ball: 'Glowing, smiling, looking health and equal love. Mama is happy.'
Now Selena is introducing more of her family to her new boyfriend, bringing her cousin, Priscilla DeLeon, and her nephew, Aiden, along to the Dallas show as part of his Starboy world tour. According to a picture posted by Priscilla on Instagram, it looks like they were given the backstage star treatment, with the two cousins wearing VIP lanyards.
Even more daunting for The Weeknd? Selena's dad was also in the audience. Parent-friendly his songs are not. In fact, several guests reported that the singer, real name Abel Tesfaye, rushed through some of the more explicit lyrics. Bless.
