Taylor shared the 30-second clip of their new song ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’ with her 94 million followers a few weeks ago. And just hours after becoming available to download{
And we can see why. The moody, R&B track - produced by her pal Jack Antonoff - is she sure to satisy both Zayn and Taylor fans.
Taylor, who previously dated Zayn’s former One Direction band member Harry Styles in 2013 (in case you didn't know), co-wrote the song about a doomed relationship. 'Wonder if I dodged a bullet / Or just lost the love of my life?' Taylor sings. ‘I don’t want to live forever, ‘cause I don’t want to be living in pain/I don’t want to fit wherever, I just want to keep calling your name/’Til you come back home.'
iTunes describe the collaboration as ‘two of pop’s brightest stars [teaming up] for a passionate duet’. And the moment you have all been waiting for has arrived.
