Tom Cruise has apparently ‘fallen’ for his Mission Impossible 6 co-star, The Crown’s Vanessa Kirby.
According to In Touch Weekly, the 54-year-old actor was ‘blown away' by the British actress’ 'endless charm and energy’ and was impressed by her performance as Princess Margaret in Netflix’s hit drama series The Crown. He reportedly told producers of the Mission Impossible 6 franchise that he wanted her to play the love interest in the sixth instalment.
Cruise has been out of the public eye since his high-profile divorce from actress Katie Holmes in 2012, with whom he has a 10-year-old daughter, Suri. After meeting Vanessa Kirby it has been said that he is looking to marry again, and that he wants to make her ‘the next Mrs Cruise’.
The Top Gun actor also has two children with actress Nicole Kidman - Bella, 24, and Connor, 22 - and is excited to ‘be a family man all over again’.
Not much is known about the plot of Mission Impossible 6 so far, but the cast also includes singer and actress Rebecca Ferguson and Batman v Superman's Henry Cavill.
