The Leading Ladies To Watch On The Red Carpet This Awards Season
Today the Golden Globes nominees were announced, giving us a clue about the way the red carpet is going to go in awards season in 2016. We know, we know, awards season is about more than pretty dresses, but the frock-watching is one of the most fun parts of the whole thing. Right?
So who is going to be walking the red carpet at awards season? Jennifer Lawrence is going to be back (and probably in Dior), while Alicia Vikander, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet are all nominated for major awards at the Golden Globes (see the full list of nominees here.)
One unlikely nominee is Lady Gaga, who is up for a Golden Globe in the Best Actress in a Limited TV Series category for her performance in American Horror Story. If a nominee is going to take a risk in the wardrobe department, surely it's going to be Gaga.
