Daisy Ridley's Futuristic 'Star Wars' Promo Tour Wardrobe

Before Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Daisy Ridley was relatively unknown with a few episodes of Casualty and Silent Witness on her acting CV. But the 23-year-old, who has never had her own premiere before, is now on one of the biggest promo tours of the year/decade/century.

Daisy knows that the secret to winning the red carpet is a Hollywood power stylist, and Daisy has bagged one of the most in-demand stylists in the biz, Petra Flannery. She has dressed Emma Stone, Jennifer Aniston and Amy Adams.

Daisy's look has been chic, but futuristic. At last night's LA premiere she wore an asymmetric embellished black gown by Roland Mouret. At a China photocall she wore an out-of-this-world dress from Mary Katrantzou's Spring Summer 2016 collection which was aptly entitled 'Cosmology'. She has also worn a silver foil-effect dress by Rejina Pyo and a galactic Dior grey knit tank speckled in silver. Oh - and Daisy has a constellation tattoo on her left foot.

Daisy has been compared to Keira Knightley, and she said to Refinery29 of the likeness: “This is one thing that I’m actually so ugh about. It hasn’t really happened with John [Boyega], and I don’t think it’s because I’m a woman. But it’s like, why do I have to be like someone else?

"People have always said that I’ve looked like Keira Knightley, and obviously Carrie was joking in that interview. But it is actually really frustrating. Keira Knightley is wonderful and has her own thing. I just think to compare a 23-year-old girl to anyone else is — it’s so unnecessary. So yeah, people tell me I look like her, but then actually people said that it becomes less, as you get to know me."
