We take a look at some of Dakota Johnson’s biggest style hits…
Dakota Johnson first shot onto our style radar in 2015 when she hit red carpets around the world to promote her role as Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades Of Grey franchise.
Assisted by stylist Kate Young, Dakota’s tour wardrobe was made up of gowns from the world’s most distinguished design houses – think Chanel, Dior, Saint Laurent and Balenciaga – in a statement that let everyone know that this breakout actress was also a fashion one-to-watch.
Since then, Dakota’s star has continued to rise and she’s experimented constantly with classic Hollywood silhouettes, whilst putting her own, modern stamp on them. She was one of the first celebrities to catch on to the genius of designer Alessandro Michele when took over at the helm of Gucci, and is regularly spotted wearing his trompe l'oeil gowns on the red carpet, or sitting front row at the brand’s latest blockbuster fashion show.

Of course, while Dakota’s fame may have only reached new heights in the last few years, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson has been familiar with the industry since she was a child. She made her first red carpet appearance at the age of seven and attended the Oscars for the first time at the age of 10 with her mother and then-step-father Antonio Banderas.
For the premiere of Fifty Shades Darker, Dakota looked beautiful in a blush plunging crepe dress by Valentino, and wore her dark hair in a lose braid.
