Two things you're guaranteed at Couture week: witnessing the most gorgeous gowns EVER created and peer at the hottest names in Hollywood and the fashion world flocking to Paris to catch a glimpse at the new collections (and no doubt eyeing up their red carpet looks for next awards season).
Haute Couture is pure and utter escapism - celebrating the art of dressmaking and theatricality – which we’ve encountered already from Chanel’s pink bride played by Edie Campbell to Giambattista Valli’s fairy-tale dresses. And there’s always a good dose of drama from the sidelines too – who could forget when Cara brought her dog as her +1 last season?!
And the Autumn/Winter ’16 collections did not disappoint. Celine Dion taking centre stage at Dior and Giambattista Valli (who had some pretty adorbs fangirl moments, cheering the models as the walked by). Then there was the VIP trio catching up: Jennifer Garner, Naomi Campbell and Bradley Cooper (what were they talking about, that’s what we really want to know) at Versace Atelier.
And, of course, the coolest father and daughter duo – Will Smith and his 15-year old model daughter Willow, pulling faces at Chanel.
