From Hari Nef at H&M to Andreja Pejic for Reformation, transgender models are making waves in the world of fashion. And Diesel are the latest fashion brand to cast not just one but two transgender models in their most recent campaign.
Benjamin Melzer and Loiza Lamers are the stars of Diesel's new campaign in collaboration with German clothing company About You.
Melzer and Lamers are not new to the world of modelling, Melzer was the first transgender man to appear on the cover of German Men's Health, and Lamers was the first transgender model to win Holland's Next Top Model.
'Transgender models Benjamin Melzer and Loiza Lamers were chosen because they perfectly support the brand's attitude: free-spirited, against all odds and fresh young minds,' a Diesel spokesperson said.
Both Melzer and Lamers took to Instagram to share their exciting news with the caption: 'Proud to represent who we are and what we do.'
