The relationship between fashion and cycling has always been an uncertain one. On the one hand, we're used to seeing beautiful photographs of glamorous women on their bikes (think Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday) in countless editorials, but on the other, it conjures up images of skin-tight lycra, clunky cleats and helmet-hair. Until now that is.

Fendi has launched what must be the chicest bike ever to celebrate the launch of their F is Fendi pop-up shop at Harrods. The bright red bicycles, which feature a back basket emblazoned with 'Fendi' and a 'F' spoked wheel, will sit in the window of Harrods throughout September, and sadly aren't available to buy (yet).
What you can get your hands on however is the brand's new 'Triplette' bag, which comprises three mix-and-match mini clutches held together by an 'F' keyring. So whether you want to stick to a simple colour palette or mix it up with exotic prints, there's something entirely individual to you.
Of course, it's unsurprising that the Karl Lagerfeld-helmed house has created one of the must-have accessories of the season. This is the man that brought us the Fendi monster bag charms, pom-pom shoes and the Peekaboo bag.
